AIKUISKASVATUKSEN KILTA RY
Aikuiskasvatuksen Kilta ry (“The Adult Education Guild”), commonly known as AKK is a subject association for students of General and Adult Education at University of Helsinki.
Our mission is to make the field of General and Adult Education more well known to the general public. We collaborate with organizations and take part in discussions regarding the education industry.
We are trying to bring together students and the working life by organizing excursions to organizations with employment possibilities for educational scientists. We can assure you the range is diverse, all the way from HR to IT. Even the game industry needs some professionals in pedagogy!
To keep things from getting too work-oriented we of course organize leisure activities and parties for students, but most importantly, we offer room for new friendships, networking possibilities and peer support.
